Domaine des Dieux Chardonnay 2016

On the back of the Hemel-en-Aarde hill range, the "Domaine des Dieux" owns two plots where Chardonnay thrives, bursting with potential. Already the nose reveals that this is a very precise Chardonnay that clearly shows attitude: Nuances of wet stone and a fine minerality can be found here as well as aromas of butter biscuits and white stone fruit. This complex bouquet is completed by a very animating and nutty roasted aroma. On the palate white pears and quinces as well as hints of acacia blossoms are noticeable. Hints of vanilla and toast perfectly complement the spicy and highly lively structure with its crystal clear precision and skilfully introduce the long and persistent finish. Such a complex wine continues to evolve and will reward you with slow sipping.
